History of Electrolysis

The process of electrolysis for permanent hair removal was discovered in 1875 by ophthalmologist Dr. Charles Michel for removing ingrown eyelashes.

Today, electrolysis includes three modalities:

Electrolysis (direct current)
Thermolysis (alternating current)
The Blend (both of the above currents)
